Daily Life in Spanish
Telling time in Spanish has one big quirk: 1:00 uses 'es la una' (singular) while every other hour uses 'son las' (plural). Think of it this way — at 1:00 there is one hour, at 2:00 there are two hours. Once you remember this rule, the rest follows a simple add-and-subtract pattern.
